The European Commission's AI Office, in partnership with the AI-BOOST project, has launched the Apply AI Startup Award to recognise European AI startups active in sectors covered by the EU's Apply AI Strategy. These sectors include healthcare, mobility, manufacturing, energy, agri-food, defence, public sector, and others. Three winners will be selected via nomination by national startup associations, evaluation, and a pitching event, with an award ceremony at the Apply AI Summit on 17 November 2026. The award is restricted to European companies and carries promotional rather than financial prizes.
